The REDD+ Readiness implementation is funded from the Readiness Fund of the Forest Carbon Partnership of World Bank. Similarly, Tarayana Foundation, A CSO working with rural and marginalized communities will be carrying out consultation with communities within their areas, which are usually far from the district headquarters. All the facilitators for carrying out the workshops were trained during a four days Training workshop in August, 2017. In addition, Social Forestry and Extension Division carried out consultation with local government leaders and CFMGS (Community Forest Management Groups) in Thimphu, Punakha and Wangdue Districts.
