7-10th October: Watershed Management Division organized consultation meeting on the development of the Feedback Grievance Redress mechanism (FGRM) for REDD+ implementation. The consultation meeting was attended by the regional heads, local leaders, Chairpersons of the Community Forests and Non-wood forest product groups, civil society organizations and women groups from the Dzongkhags of Lhuentse, Mongar, Pemagathsel, Samdrup Jongkhar, Trashigang and Trashiyangtse. Similar consultaion meeting will be organized for other Dzongkhags as well.
