RSPN with technical assistance form Watershed Management Division (WMD) under Department of Forest and Park Services (DoFPS) which also house Bhutan REDD+ secretariat organized two days second capacity building workshop for stakeholder’s from the project area. The workshop was attended by 17 participants (14 M and 3 F), representing various sectors.
Objectives of the workshop
• To build the capacity of Buli Environment Management Committee to act as REDD focal group and engage participants in REDD+ decision-making process in future
• To further build the capacity of participants through awareness on Bhutan REDD+ readiness program
• To inform participants on REDD group formation and discuss on roles and responsibility of the group
• To develop local level REDD+ action plan through identifying issue and causes of problem and outline short-term activity
